Other Regulations

• Anthropomorphic, alien, or fantasy races and animals are prohibited from competing in competitions outside of Themed Events

  • If there is a themed show, you may have your exhibitor dress accordingly

  • Said beings are welcomed to be freely used in your scrapbooks and themed events

• The design of real breed animals must correspond to the genetics of that breed​

• Colors and markings for real breeds must be documented and naturally occur within the breed; i.e., no double dapple Dachshund, merle Labrador etc.. The Harlequin Pinscher is accepted as it naturally occurred and is being bred to recreate a variety of Miniature Pinschers from the 1800s that sported unusually patterned coats such as brindle, merle and piebald

• Wolfdogs (dog x any wolf) and coydogs (coyote x any dog) are strictly prohibited. Instead, choose dogs that closely resemble coyotes or wolves such as the Tamaskan, Northern Inuit, Saarloos, etc.

• SKU does not condone the act of betting and dog fighting. Instead, members are encouraged to recreate roles that their breed was originally bred for. Such as Pit Bulls; they are a descendant of the original English bull-baiting dog. A dog that was bred to bite and hold bulls, bears and other large animals around the face and head. Rottweilers' main use was to herd livestock and pull carts. They may also be used as search and rescue dogs, guard dogs, and police dogs

• As we accept posts from all Sims games, dogs in R-Shows and T-Shows are to be strictly used from the Sims 3 and Sims 4 games as they are actual Sim Pets that are created and not just a statue/mod

• Dogs must be 6 months of age or older to compete; they must not be in in-game puppy form

• Please complete the entry form provided for each conformation or sporting event

  • Incorrect form information will NOT disqualify an entry

  • Please contact a judge to make any changes to previously submitted show entries

• Entries should be clear, concise full-body pictures

• All dogs must have a drawn-on lead; in-game collars are prohibited except in IGP competitions

• The number of dogs per one handler is restricted to two (2)

  • No more than two (2) handlers with a total of four (4) dogs shall be pictured in brace entries

• ​Handlers must dress appropriately if in photo; business casual. Heels may be no taller than 2.5 inches or 6.35 centimeters

• Show grounds may be indoors or outdoors

  • Please be aware of each show's requirements by checking the rules in the show thread

• Do not download dogs from the Exchange, Mod the Sims, The Sims Resource or The Gallery and pass them off as your own creation or enter them in any event. This is plagiarism; if caught, you will face the consequences
